“God has reserved to Himself the right to determine the end of life, because He alone knows the goal to which it is His will to lead it. It is for Him alone to justify a life or to cast it away.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Death is a necessary end, we all are mortals , no human can live forever (apart from our “vampires” who only exist in stories and even the vampires die when they are staked with a wooden stick).
Death comes anyhow, anywhere, anytime. It comes every day, every week, every year. OH YES! Death respects nobody. It comes to the rich, poor, male, female, President, citizens, old and young.
We see still births, babies who are born dead. Some babies only have few minutes to say “HI” to the world and before you know it they die. Others live up to their teenage years, get their degrees and die. Some other people who are really lucky get to live up to 70 and above.

Losing a Loved one is one of the most painful thing in the world. I mean, yes, you know they are gone but you never get used to it, the idea of that person being gone. And so, just when you think its reconciled, accepted, someone points it out to you and it hits you all over again. *SHOCKING*
It kills me sometimes how people die.
But I have come to understand that this world is not our own, we have no say because God alone has the final verdict. Knowing this, what do we do with the life we have? This one life that we treasure? I think the answer is “Preparation” knowing that you can be called home at anytime. Preparation in the sense that we should live our life like we are ready to go, Living everyday like it was our last. Carving our names on the Hearts of people around us, so that when we are gone we will not be forgotten.
According to Harriet Beecher Stowe, “The bitterest tears shed over graves are words left unsaid and deeds left undone” . Whatever it is you have to
Say to that brother, sister, husband, wife, best friend, colleague, neighbour Please Say it now!! Do it now!! Life is too short.

Peace with God will help you face death when it stares you in the face, because when you take care of your life, the Lord will take care of your death..Simple!
Finally when the time comes for you to die, you need not be afraid, because death cannot separate you from God’s love.

Meanwhile, let us all pray for LONGLIFE!
