Beautiful people, It’s been a while. Merry Christmas!
Forgive my absence. I have been trying to get my life together; from graduation to a tax summer school and to preparations for a job interview. I’ll explain with loads of pictures.
Stay with me.
I graduated from the University of Ibadan on the 1st December 2016. We wrapped it up with Jurisprudence and Legal Theory II. It was God all the way because I had exams “back to back” and was almost loosing my mind.
Selfies after last paper…
It wasn’t excitement I felt as I dropped my pen. It was pure relief. Pure blissful relief.
Few days after our exams, the faculty organized a WHAT NEXT PROGRAMME for us. A semi graduation. And of course we took pictures…
After graduation, I was invited to Tax Summer School in the University of Lagos, all thanks to Prof. Abiola Sanni. I had fun and learnt so much about taxation. It was there I realized that sometimes in life we make decisions that do not make sense to us until something else happens to fill in the gap. When I registered for the taxation and revenue as an elective, I was sad and scared. But I survived and if I hadn’t registered for it, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to go for tax summer school and I wouldn’t have gotten the internship positions.
I would still write about Lagos and all my experiences.
But before then, do you know I saw Ramsey Noah and the beloved Titilope Sonuga?!? I had the opportunity of talking with Titilope. I have just been too lazy and busy to write about it all. But then again, pictures should suffice.
After graduation, few of my classmates and I travelled to Erin Ijesha in Osun State. It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. I was happy. I jumped under the water, played and couldn’t stop thinking of how magnificent God is. The air in Erin Ijesha is pure and natural and if government puts their heart to it, that place will make a good tourist site.
Erin Ijesha (Olumirin) is a seven step waterfall in Osun State, Nigeria, the waterfalls is an overwhelming and breathtaking inspiring experience with nature. Each step of the waterfall has a flowing fountain that marks the mystical nature of the place. I stopped at the second step. I was so tired and had bruised my legs severally on the rocks I couldn’t continue.
I give it to my friends who made it to the seventh step. Like, they are real MVPs!!! When they got there, some villagers told them they were now in Ekiti State!
I marveled at the spectacular craft of supreme architecture. We kept telling each other how God is so great. To think the fall was not structured by human hands. Funny thing is we couldn’t find the source of the water!!! Isn’t it amazing?!?
I regret not making it to the seventh fountain but I’m pretty sure I would have fainted on my way to the fourth.
My blog is my baby. I will still write about my favourite things and I hope they make you happy.
Merry Christmas.
Jesus is the center of it all. He is important. I pray that you fall in love with him even as he has fallen in love with you.
Love xoxo
